What Locals Say about Woodmont Triangle

  • Rob B.
"Bethesda is a great neighborhood. Unfortunately the small business owners are being pushed out by the the larger corp. that have bought up so much real estate. Rents are very high and commercial rent is as well. Sadly it is slowly losing its neighborhood charm and it will soon look like every other cookie cutter block with all the same large corporation businesses. There is a homeless shelter that’s not well advertised on Cordell ave & Wisconsin Ave so you will see people begging for money on the regular. Great access to I459, the Metro and DC if that’s seen as a plus for you. "

"There’s a homeless outreach on Cordell ave and Wisconsin ave. You do have homeless walking the area asking for money, some are a bit crazy. The housing is stupid expensive, apartments and houses. The small businesses are dwindling due to big investors/ owners like Greenhill who don’t care about anything but money. That part is very sad. The rest of the neighborhood and the residents are wonderful and friendly. "

"I have lived in this neighborhood for about 4 years. This is a great area with excellent access to I495, DC and VA. Unfortunately the area is changing. All of the Mom & Pop places are slowly being pushed out and the same old big box companies are moving in. Tons of new building are going up over night here. A bit pricy. It’s a great place put you definitely pay for it. "

"I drive to Gaithersburg for work. It’s very convenience with being able to park right at my building and access it via elevator. "
  • "Lack of dog runs and parks is a minus but many people have friendly dogs and take care of the area. Loads of shops for their needs"
  • Beades87
"Bethesda is a very dog friendly. Most stores have water bowls and/or treats for your four legged friend."
