What Locals Say about Waterboro

  • Michael P.
"There is Bingo at the Community center. The association fees include Tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball, 3 pools (2 of them indoors ), a cardio room, weight room, yoga room, playground. Plenty of things to do for kids."
  • Trulia User
"Oak Lane in East Waterboro, ME is a dead end street making it ideal for raising children and/or having pets. The properties on one side of the street abut the middle school athletic fields with a 200 foot wooded privacy buffer. The perfect neighborhood for taking long walks or bike rides through the neighborhood and school property without having to encounter traffic. Little Ossipee Lake beach is just one mile away and shopping is less than 3 miles."
  • Beth S. R.
"Amenities available at 2 clubhouses, community events such as ice cream socials, wreath making, July 4th boat parade."
  • Shannonbarnicle
"It’s quiet, lakefront and peaceful. Small town but easy commute. Lots of wildlife. Perfect for young families. "
  • Susan C.
"I think this area is fantastic. You have the high school grounds (tennis, basketball, running, football, adult ed classes) the beautiful woods and quiet behind the house. There are snowmobile trails for walking/bike riding and the 'town' pizza joint, pub, breakfast/lunch restaurants, gas and much more is just down the street 1/4 mile. I love this place. The environment is very friendly and there are so many choices of what to do...there's even a fishing hole across the street and deer in the back yard that eat off the apple trees...We LOVED living here :-)"
  • Jane
"This is a safe community with lots to do and a great way of life!"
  • Mquackenbush
"We've lived here for six years, and it's really a nice place to raise a family, vacation, or participate in outdoor recreation."
