What Locals Say about Georgetown

  • Gloria G.
"Nice, quiet and low traffic. Parks are very close and public transportation is very accessible "
  • Reggie H.
"I live in this neighborhood for a year in a half, pretty standard relax environment if your looking for a more involve community this isn’t it but it’s also not a college town area. More so a upper level students area or maybe couples moving in together start out. Only thing I would change is cost not much here for the amount they charge."
  • Mikayla B.
"There are always a lot of people taking their dogs for walks around the neighborhood. Everyone seems nice and always asks if the other dog is okay with dogs before letting them meet, which is super nice!"
  • MB
"We live south of Eisenhower Rd and really like the area. It’s really safe and less expensive than the more northern parts of Ann Arbor. There isn’t much to do on the south side of town, you either have to go west towards Maple Rd or head north to downtown/ Kerrytown. The south side seems like a nice place for kids and pets, especially if you want to get away from the annoying parking and bustle of downtown and university. "
  • David H.
"Lots of people walking their dog all the time and there are sidewalks and crosswalks. Very convenient. "
  • Slieto15
"It’s close to campus and downtown but also removed enough to be quite and peaceful. I can walk/bike to work/sporting events if I’d like. "
  • Msepiderm
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for almost 16 years and it is a very safe and friendly neighborhood. "
