What Locals Say about Hartkopf

  • Bulltastic
"This area is close to everything. The schools are great and so are the parks. We go out for walks regularly and feel safe. "
  • Xxbluegoddessxx
"I live here still and I’ve never had a problem with the neighbors or anything. Late night walks are a must for me and I feel safe when I do "
  • Noy S.
"I lived in my neighborhood for over 20 years and I have only seen maybe 10 ppl walk their dogs. If everyone keeps a lease on their dog, its a great neighborhood for families. "
  • Orrionne
"I lived hear for over 15 years and I love it. I never had a problem with anyone and I also have the option to walk to my shopping center."
  • Orrionne
"I have lived here for 19 years and I love the community. It’s easy to get around the bus line and shopping malls are very close."
  • Dundyklo
"peaceful, safe, quiet and everyone keeps to themselves. ther community park is a diamond in the rough. "
  • "The streets in this neighborhood are wide and spacious, and are free of overnight parking throughout all the winter months. Hartkopf park is central to the neighborhood with huge mature trees adorning it's heart, giving it a cool and shaded feeling on hot summer days. Three separate playgrounds dot the center, and outer extremities of the large park, along with a tennis complex and an elementary school. It's close to all the essential shopping areas, and yet has a quiet, off the beaten path kind of feeling. Barbecuing in my large backyard, I wouldn't think my house is this close to 694 and 81. Freeway noise does affect the homes on the outer fringes of this neighborhood, but with the accompanying conveniences and inherent ease of accessibility this centralized locale offers, it merely comes with the territory. This neighborhood seems to be a mix of retired couples, new immigrant families, and a more recent addition of young, first time homeowner couples who seek a quiet place to raise a family that is both economical and yet close enough to the city for an easy commute.
