What Locals Say about Como

  • Trulia User
"It is uniquely located between both downtowns. Walking distance to Lake Como, it’s a lovely combination of neighborhood feel with a short commute all major attractions. "
  • Emmatconnolly
"Nice neighbors. Not a lot of community within the entire neighborhood though. It varies block by block"
  • Kristin C.
"If you have a yard it’s better but there’s a lot of dogs around, walking, your neighbors, it’s a good area for dogs."
  • Cookie J. B.
"I like that the Como area is close to a zoo, park, trails, for people of all ages. I’ve lived here for 8 months and have liked the area. It’s my forever neighborhood. "
  • Scotttesch
"I have lived here since 1992 because this is a nice, quiet neighborhood with a low crime rate. I do not plan on moving from the neighborhood unless these things change."
  • K s. s.
"I have lived here 2 years and my husband lived here previously. It’s centrally locates, fairly quiet and nice! "
  • Xabeebyare2020
"I had friends who live that place many years and it was really cool place and safe place,I like to leave that place"
  • Ginduke15
"Walking distance to Como Park, zoo, lake and golf course. Great community and neighbors, e.g. Book clubs, block parties, plant exchanges. Safe for kids. Lots of pets and great walking area for dogs. Many families and couples in the area. Properties well maintained. Some garage breakins but for the most part safe. Only downside is during the 12 days of the state fair; parking is difficult and noise and activity level up, especially over the two weekends of the fair. "

"One of my favorite things about living in the area north of Como Park and golf course is the walkability. From my house I can easily walk to grocery & drug stores, coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Everything I need is just a couple blocks away and has easy access to the bus line."
