What Locals Say about Highlands

  • Cindy Burns
"My neighbors are the best I’ve ever had. The neighborhood is safe and we all look after each other. The streets are well lit. "
  • Ogor.dorina92
"I live here and I love it. The people around feel like family and we can help each other at all the times."
  • Trulia User
"Lots of shootings, homeless, etc. beautiful homes and close to baseball/down town/college/hospitals, but definitely a rough part of town"
  • Marianclyman
"it's a great neighborhood for kids with schools and parks close by. hospitals are also close as is a pediatric clinic. "
  • Jill R.
"I’ve lived here for about 3 years. It’s not the type of neighborhood where kids are playing in the front yard (decent amount of thru traffic), but it’s still very family friendly. Neighbors are neighborly but not overbearing. Location is unbeatable. Central to everything, Amazing park a block away, downtown restaurants and breweries are walkable if you like walking :). I like that the homes and people aren’t cookie cutter- a fair amount of diversity (relative to Montana) and very safe feeling. Grateful to live here. "
  • Jill R.
"It’s a great neighborhood, lots of families and tons to do nearby. That said, it’s a back yard kind of neighborhood: you don’t see a whole lot of hound children free ranging out front... a little bit too much through traffic. Love living here though."
  • Roger K.
"I’m new to Billings from colorful Colorado and thus far it’s been a pleasant second home and I am planning on building a new life and family and hoping to do so here."
  • Cindy B.
"It’s green and full of trees with a variety of styles of homes landscaping and architecture. Great neighborhood "
  • Jr r.
"It’s old, has narrow streets, large mature trees, close to a golf club, new streets and everyone who sells their home buys another in the neighborhood."
  • darcycritchfield
"Quite neighborhood, beautiful homes and friendly people close to university, hospital, downtown, grocery stores, and restaurants. "
