"This neighborhood is easy to get stolen from if no secure security system. This was done at my home being in for 1 month so bad experience already. "
  • Beh0805
"lots of ways to walk throughout the neighborhood. cars do speed through and tend to not stop at stop signs so be careful!"

"26 years. Lots of changes. Great neighborhood to retire in. Convenient. Tax values increased more than we expected however we’ll make it happen!"
  • Nicole
"Our neighborhood is multicultural and eclectic with homes build in the 1960's to new construction. The Hindu Center of Charlotte and a Baptist church find a home within our neighborhood. It is also convenient to access the McAlpine Creek Greenway and area grocery stories and restaurants like Hawthorne's Pizza by accessing the crossover on Independence BLVD."
  • Roylny
"I do not consider this neighborhood unique however, it is a pleasant place to live. It is a working class neighborhood and there isn’t loitering on the streets. People on the street are either walking they dogs, walking for exercise, waiting for the school bus or commuting. It is basically a quiet, safe place to live."
  • Briley1270
"The neighbors are friendly and look out for each other. The neighborhood keep there yards neat and clean."

"I have friends around the area, and it is very quiet, friendly, and safe. I have been looking to buy ib that area, close to Independence blvd. close schools and supermarkets, great area to buy to live or invest."
  • "I loved living here for 9 years. The expanding city of Charlotte includes this neighborhood that its impossible to find a 1/2 acre property with a ranch homestyle 10 minutes away from the city. "
