What Locals Say about Windsor Park

  • Trulia User
"Depending on the area you live in, many of the streets are short cuts to the main road. Air on the side of caution when kids are playing, especially in the front yard "
  • Antonio Q.
"A nice area to raise your kids good school nice people this is a great place to live I would not want to be nowhere else"
  • Craig N.
"Lots of animals are here. It is a big pet community well linked on Next Door. I. Have a number of cats. "
  • Luchio32
"you need a car for everything, bus stop is close but the wait time is very long, streets are not well lit and is not pedestrian friendly. "
  • Cmj_charlotte
"The tree canopy that we have in the neighborhood is wonderful. It is also very quiet and peaceful being in the middle of the city and you don’t know it."
  • Kerri S.
"Residents are typically looking out for the well-being of the neighborhood and safety for the kids who walk to school or stand at bus stops. "
  • Kassandrarojass
"Have only lived here for a year and enjoy it. People are nice, area is quiet, and still some vegetation. Nearby stores, close to plaza and lots of places to eat within a 10 minute drive or less"
  • "This neighborhood has been virtually crime-free with a few incidents during the past 23 years. It's a mixed neighborhood of caucasians, African Americans, Vietnamese, Koreans, Germans, Hispanic, and several other ethnicities I haven't quite placed. The neighborhood is stable. To my knowledge, there have been only two sales on this street during the past ten years. Prior to that, older, retired people sold property at near-giveaway prices to people who bought, maintained, and improved their property. Carriage Drive Circle is a short walk to the bus stop on central Avenue which will take you uptown in twenty minutes. Resident ages range from mid twenty-somethings to retired. There are no sidewalks YET (as of 2012) BUT THE CITY HAS BEEN DRAWING LINES TO DELINEATE CURBS AND SUCH. . There are speed bumps to keep the traffic sane and slow. Carriage drive circle is an oasis in the Windsor area. "
  • "I have lived here for a year and like it pretty good however would not reccomend it for young singles or families. Very quiet also comes with the price of no nightlife or community involvement. also there are many solicitars who come around but they are nice. It is safe to walk around the neighboorhood and very pet welcoming!"
