What Locals Say about Allenstown

  • Llthibeault
"Great family area, good commute everything in walking ares, grocery store, Phamacy, family Dollar pizza places"
  • Christine G.
"Mom lives here, I used to live here. I actually enjoy the fact that it’s far enough away from the city to be quiet yet close enough to be there in about 20 mins"
  • Lydia C.
"Great to walk dogs. There are other dogs that get walked. So if your dog is energetic just know that there are others. Having your dog indoor is good too. If your dog runs away it wouldn’t be hard to find them easily. "
  • Afdchrishess
"My wife and our three sons have lived here for the past five years. I’m on the fire department here for past five years as well. It’s a beautiful area and good school system definitely recommend the area."
  • ann237beauregard
"What a great area, from that area, there are plenty of areas for walks, trail riding of bikes. very close to areas for fishing, camping, even areas to do shooting. Very close to Bear brook state park. In an area that is secluded but yet neighbors that keep an eye out. Pretty Much everyone owns a dog in this neighborhood, pick up after them, and do not let them run into well groomed flower beds and all is great! live among the wild animals, hear the coyotes in the distance, see a fox at night. A bear or 2 has even been known to show up for a snack at a feeder or two. not a nightlife town, but not far from were it is available at all. "
  • Carolvigneault
"This area is very centrally located within two large metropolitan areas of New Hampshire (Manchester & Concord). Living convenience in this area is really great!"
