What Locals Say about Olivet

  • dstump2
"This area is a rural area so there isn't any night life or entertainment value in the area but there is in neighboring communities like Vineland, Glassboro, Turnersville, and Millville all within 20 miles. This is a beautiful area made up of parks and natural areas including lakes. Great schools with dedicated teachers. The tranquility is great for retirees and the schools and community activities make it a good place to raise children. I raised my two children here putting them through the entire school systems and both are outstanding people. One is a lawyer and the other is an author."

"This is a beautiful community made up of parks, lakes, and farms. Great for outdoor fun like camping, canoeing, hunting and fishing."

"I've lived in this area for 27 years and this is a great area to raise a family. The schools are very good and because the district is small, children are able to participate more than in large areas were limits are placed. This is a rural community where family values are important. The only negatives involve a lack of anything to do at night. Residents must travel elsewhere for entertainment. Also there is no public transportation at all so driving is necessary no matter where you're going. But having a nice community, with open parks and recreational facilities, good schools, good neighbors, and low crime is an easy trade off. "
