    "As a resident, Ocean Gate holds about 2000 people in town in the winter, and about 4000 people in the summer...and you would not know the difference. We are a very quiet little town with a "Mayberry" appeal. A few great local places to eat, a beach and boardwalk that is never over crowded or dirty, and a cozy little town for walking, biking, skating, fishing, crabbing, etc. It's quiet and free of noisy traffic, and no matter where you live here in town you get the most wonderful bay breezes. A great place to start a family or retire, there's something for everyone. "
