What Locals Say about Peralta

"Small town livin, same old routine almost every day. Pretty sunrises and sunsets. Wish we had more business "
  • Trulia User
"We’ve only been here for a year, we love it! The neighbors are wonderful, every home in our area is unique, no cookie cutter homes!"
  • Lglem
"I work at the most northern portion of Albuquerque. So my commute is longer than others. I would rather leave my job then leave my house and neighborhood"
  • Lglem
"many people walk their dogs around here. Most every yard is fenced in with large land Lots. lots of room for dogs to run. we also have an Arroyo that many people use to walk and some include their dog's "
  • Lglem
"I've lived here for 20 years and I still love that I have to stop to let Ducks walk across the road. Or slow down for the families riding their horses along the side of the road. list stores are small town stores not big stores you get to know everybody and they'll do their best to make sure you have a good deal and a good day. the people are calm and very much into their community. it's a beautiful place to live and after 20 years I still drive home and think how blessed I am. and one of the sweetest things is the amount of people couples and Families that walk together. it's a simpler life one more focused on family and home, 4-H clubs and rodeos where kids can have activities that are healthy. it's a beautiful community for those with a country heart that want to have a home not a house"
  • Cassidy ~ CasaBella Realty
"We are community of folks who love to wave to one another. 😊 There is a community fair, 4-H activities, beautiful acquias to walk, run and ride horses. "
  • Laurelrbowie
"It’s country. Lots of farms. Many dogs are for security. So most folks don’t walk their dogs. They have lots os space to run on their property "
  • nmbobbie49
"Have lived on Forgotten Promise since 1988. Started out as a quiet rural area with lots of open space and over the years many families have moved into the area. Quite a few horse properties in the area. Nearby shopping and some fast food establishments but you have to go into Los Lunas for fine dining and the movies. Peralta has recently become an incorporated town and the services in the area have improved quite a bit."
  • ascutt13
"Community is ok if you stay in Bosque Farms area. Los Lunas is an armpit. You will have Bosque Farms elementary school...but For middle and HS you'll have to go to Los Lunas, not good. Very economically depressed county and LL / Belen especially."
