"Forest Park is a great neighborhood to live in my grandparents have stayed in this neighborhood for over 60 years "
  • Courtney Fyan
"Very walkable neighborhoods with lots of streets intersecting. When the weather is nice there will be people out in front yard. If your dog is social like mine, they will love it"
  • Trainbow99
"My parents purchased our home near Winton Woods in 1968. I took it over in 2010. I’ve been able to volunteer on various committees in the city. We have a Women’s Club I belong to. During the summer there are concerts. The streets are always well maintained in the winter. Police are very friendly & always check on your home if you request it when you go out of town. "
  • Trainbow99
"Our section is near Winton Woods, so we can walk or bike around the park. There are organizations to volunteer for, a Women’s Club to attend the 3rd Thursday each month & A new library under construction. "
  • Trainbow99
"No dog park on this side of town. I’ve tried to persuade the park director to add one, but he doesn’t honk enough would use it. "
  • Larrondric W.
"The commute is perfect. Nothing too crazy to fat to a variety of places. It’s really the perfect neighborhood that has the best available stores, resources and etc to make a true living. "
  • Unspecified
"I see people walking their dogs, no issues. I never hear dogs barking so I assume we do not have many in this neighborhood. "
  • Kela M.
"No transportation to high school but great neighborhood and school district. Simple and quite family friendly neighborhood.. great place for growing family and community involvement "
  • Taiwo D.
"I like the neighborhood. it's safe n family oriented. new school building will be a nice attraction "
  • Evanswg
"Easy enough I don’t have to drive far at all to work and it’s easy to get to the grocery stores in the area as well "
  • Carleen I. K.
"The commute is not bad if you own a car. By bus it’s a very long ride. Neighbors are friendly and there’s no rift raft in the neighborhood. People care about the community here. "
  • Tyler S.
"Dogs usually keep to themselves. Dog owners always clean up after their pets. You don't usually see a dog roaming without an owner or on a leash. "
  • Mssanders1967
"I went to high school in this neighborhood and now 30+ years I’m back in the area I love it. Great place to raise your family. Overall great community "
  • Trainbow99
"I grew up in Forest Park and returned after being out of state for 25 years. Most of the same neighbors were still living on our street. I love how friendly everyone is, how multiple races get along great together, & how close we are to stores, restaurants & highways. Many say there aren't many community activities anymore. People need to check the city's website to discover all there is to do!! There are committee's they can serve on, a Women's Club, a Historical Society, & many other clubs. Activities are always going on in the Activity & Senior Center."
  • Ready2Move
"Although everyone is friendly and it’s quiet in this neighborhood I’m ready to move. The taxes are extremely high and there’s nothing to show for it. Very little restaurants or shopping available. The streets are horrible as they’re full of potholes. I don’t understand what my tax dollars are paying for. It’s time to move to a better location. "
  • Carol D.
"We watch out for each other. Through helping with trash cans, walking dogs, pick up mail and just be aware of what looks normal in our daily living."
  • Cynthia B.
"The neighborhood is dog friendly. Just clean up after your dog waste. There are different breeds in the neighborhood and I have never heard anyone ever been bitten by any dogs. I have never even heard of any dogs fighting one another either."
  • Chandra
"I’ve lived here for 23 years. Neighbors are really caring and friendly. It’s a diverse community. Both my kids went to schools here and graduated. "
  • Nichol G.
"forest park is close to the freeway and other stores. there is plenty of places to dine and it has a wonder park"
  • Franck B.
"Very diverse community Everyone is very friendly Best neighborhood ever! There are a lot of children playing "
  • Reddengr
"It's quiet, convenient and friendly with beautiful greenery. There's mild traffic and relatively easy to get around."
  • Jasmine1112036
"I have lived here all my life & most of these people have done the same so I am close with a lot of people. "
  • Baclark1
"A complete lack of anything interesting is pretty rare. It might even be unique. Unique is not always good. I am so bored here. "
  • Baclark1
"It’s medium far away from everything, and it isn’t particularly expensive or inexpensive. I can’t think of anything that is decidedly positive or negative about this neighborhood. It’s a lot better than living in the middle of nowhere, but also more expensive. It’s cheaper than living in a nicer or more convenient location, but you can’t walk anywhere. I can’t wait to move away from here; I just hope I find somewhere that is affordable. "
  • Bfatimata74
"I have lived in Forest Park the past 8 years, more patrol is needed loud neighbors and we need the roads to be paved properly "
