Upper Arlington, OH: stable, tree-lined haven with elite schools, low crime, and long-term value. People love the safety, top schools, parks, libraries, and a close, kid-friendly feel. Drawbacks: missing sidewalks in spots, higher taxes, pricier homes, and some longer commutes.

"4th of July festivities in UA and Fall Fest at Fancyburg are great. Littleton’s has a nice buzz and is an event in itself. UA is a peaceful, fun and rewarding community to live in. "

"great location..expensive taxes... I love having my workplace here my clientele seems to be great when I go to a park everybody is really friendly and most people have all their animals or children under control seems to be a great place for kids to be able to ride bikes around or to be outside in"

"My personal neighborhood is full of a wide range of ages from older couples to young families. We come together several times a year for block parties, etc and are there for each other when a need arises. I feel very safe both in my neighborhood as well as the city itself. The schools have high academic standards and we moved here because there was only one high school which brings about a more community feel. "
  • The_erres

"It feels safe. I like all of the big trees and the nice community pools. There are lots of sidewalks and it is safe for my kids to ride their bikes around. Nice Libraries"
  • Tlallenx
"There are not sidewalks in many residential areas. This leaves you the option to walk in grassy areas and risk falling or twisting your ankle, or walking in the streets with many cars parked along them. Physically not safe for dog walking, exercising, or kids. "
  • Worthbilling
"Lots of green space and sidewalks to safely exercise your dogs; regardless of size. There are many dogs in the neighborhood which makes it very dog friendly. "
  • Danielle T.
