What Locals Say about Harrisburg

  • Myjken Roberson
"People are respectful of neighbors when walking their dogs. You will see people walking their dogs quite often throughout the day and night. There is ca a dog park close by. It’s a quiet area which encourages interaction of dogs and their owners."
  • MK
"Harrisburg Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration, Harrisburg Christmas Light Parade, annual neighborhood garage sale, and community clean up day. "
  • Caitlyn W.
"Super dog-friendly town with lots of walking routes through and around. The park at the river has a nice spot for the doggies to take a dip and some poop bags just in case."
  • Caitlyn W.
"We've lived in this neighborhood for five years now and everyone is friendly and the neighborhood is quiet."
  • Sheela M.
"Best small town ever. Very quite place. Walking if very enjoyable in this town. Going down to the river is real convenient for children and dogs. "
  • Michaelmalpass15
"My neighborhood near the river is infested with drug attics by the river gazebo. No police patrols in the area and also our home has had 2 bikes stolen and all our family boots stolen off our porch. I do not recommend Harrisburg at all. "
  • David S.
"I live in Harrisburg and have since 2007. It is a great bedroom community centrally located between Eugene and Corvallis and is close to I-5 for commuting. Great family atmosphere in town and neighbors seem to really care for each other."
