What Locals Say about Arbor Lodge

  • Trulia User
"I have lived here for around three years and have really enjoyed it. Not far from everything you need, but not in a busy area."
  • Trulia User
"Long. Traffic is quite bad at rush hour. I don’t even have to travel very far but it takes me forever."
  • Samryan06
"There are a lot of dog owners in this neighborhood! Great dog parks and a beautiful neighborhood to walk your dog in. I love walking my dog through the parks each day. It’s nice to see so many other dog owners out and about with their pups."
  • Youknowtheone
"Walkable to multiple grocery stories, the max, and bus lines. Two parks are dog and kid friendly. Many people have lived in the neighborhood for a long time, but it’s pretty diverse."
  • Alyssa L.
"Commuting via car to I-5 south is tricky bc of the bottleneck on Greeley at adidas. Can take forever to get through that section. "
  • Patrick C.
"Traffic is a growing concern, especially if you have children. The area needs more signage regarding speeds, etc."
  • Youknowtheone
"It’s a diverse neighborhood with lots of families. Many homes have a yard big big enough to play in. There is a school and preschool within walking distance. There’s very little traffic in the side streets. "
  • acostam
"This is a very diverse neighborhood. It's also walkable to transportation (3 buses and the Max), restaurants, grocery stores, and parks. I've lived here for a year and it still feels like a hidden gem."
  • Diane M.
"we live right in lombard so it is a different experience from what the neighbors in the middle of the block have. 1 mile from I-5 easy commute."
  • Tattoorv
"Summer block parties, we paint/repaint the mural in the intersection. We tend to watch out for each other. My kitchen caught on fire and my neighbor jumped in through the window and put out the fire extinguisher. How's that for good neighbors?"
  • Tattoorv
"Most of my neighbors know each other and we're pretty good community. Will watch out for each other. There are only a few neighbors I really don't know, most of them are either really new to the neighborhood or tenants who are renting a place. We have block parties every summer and that's good for our immediate community. On the downside we sometimes have a car break-ins, but that's everywhere in Portland these days."
  • Richards3772
"I cant believe anybody would move from this area! The best of all worlds here, everything in walking distance. Two blocks from New seasons Market, coffee shops, sit down American food, Mexican, Thai, Japanese, even a Papa Murphys take n bake."
  • "Living her for the past few years I've really enjoyed the local parks and friendly neighbors. Downtown is a short drive, bus or bike ride away and neighborhoods like the Mississippi corridor and Alberta Arts are great places for restaurants, coffee shops and things to do. "
