" Close to recreation like the Susquehanna, the park, city island, restaurant row, public library, the interstate."

"I see people walking their dogs all over this neighborhood. Very dog friendly. There are many dog sitters that live in the area, and there are also grooming places."

"I like 4th of July which includes fireworks, kipona in September, the multicultural fest and the ballet at Whitaker center. "

"Commute in and out of downtown can be difficult due to pedestrians who don’t look both ways before walking into the street. "

"We are in walking distance of downtown events such as 3rd Friday, as well as City Island ballgames, annual festivals like the Art show and Kipona. We can walk to “restaurant row” riverfront park and we are close to the interstates."

"Great for public transportation. I drive though. It’s ok area. Quiet and peaceful. I have lived downtown in same apartment for 25 years. It’s a high rise. I hope to very soon buy a house though. I live my apartment but time to go. "

"I don’t like that there isn’t convenient parking for visitors in my building. I like that most people keep to themselves."

"Well maintained homes, clean sidewalks, friendly people, public transportation, and walking distance to almost everything you could possibly need and more."

"I don't feel that Downtown is a good place to raise children. There aren't any kid friendly things in the building I live. I don't even think that the sidewalks are safe to push a baby in a stroller due to the uneven/cracked conditions."

"A fair numbers of dog “owners”. But of course they are actually dog servants, walking, bathing, feeding, and picking up after them. Seems mutually beneficial though. "
