What Locals Say about Beltzhoover

"I live right across from south hills junction so the T is a dream, and plenty of bus routes, but the T should definitely have more routes going all throughout the entire city of Pittsburgh! "
  • Trulia User
"The scenery that you get looking at the city from multiple angles, and the way you can still feel and see the retro neighborhood "
  • Candace.hawkins
"there are lots of dog owners here. there is not a place for dogs to run loose. may need to travel to do that. other than that they are walked on leashes. "
  • Terekel8
"Community day is once a year for everyone in the community. Games food vending and even a parade. It’s kinda lit & it’s free! Check it out one time for the one time. "

  • Shyheim B.
"There needs to be more sidewalks for people to safely walk without being in the street. A lot of the community is overgrown "
  • Candace.hawkins
"community days, back to school events, football and cheerleading teams, two daytime summer camps at the recreation centers, volunteer yard cleaning."
  • Candace.hawkins
"I always look forward to communicating day every year. Neighbors are hello friendly. I mind my business and I don't have any problems. "
  • Natalie
"I've lived in this neighborhood my whole life it's not the best because of the crime that goes on but the people here are great at coming together to keep it away "
  • "I hear a lot of things about this area but after living here a year I can say that I've never encountered any problems and the neighbors are friendly enough. I wouldn't walk around late at night by myself but I wouldn't do that anywhere. I like the convenient location of being close to downtown and public transit is very accessible. You can't walk to any shopping but with it's location you can get to most any shopping plaza relatively quickly. "
