What Locals Say about Greenfield

  • Trulia User
"This area of greenfield needs a make-over. It looks dinghy and there is trash everywhere. It’s convenient to get around the city though and it feels safe here "
  • Margaret G. M.
"This neighborhood is very dog friendly, there are many dogs. Some neighbors do have signs or small fences up so that your dogs are not allowed to use their lawns which limits the areas in which they are able to relieve themselves. Luckily, the park is very close. "
  • Gail B.
"It is a family neighborhood. Most of people living here have lived here forever. Generations live here. The high school is beat in the city. "
  • Darianjoann
"This is a nice quiet area, but it is a lot of rental homes for college students. I don’t see many kids around here. I have heard that the schools are just okay in this neighborhood. "
  • Qamber R.
"Its quiet and not a lot of traffic on the street where I live. Neighbors are all nice people. The area is family friendly with many kids living close by. Easy access to Frick and Scheneley parks. Haven't encountered any problems in the last 2 years that I have been living here."
  • Ana V.
"Very loud and neighbors are rather rude(many aggressive notes left on cars). Sidewalks have trash and there have been 3 shootouts in the last year."
  • Cyndi D.
"I love the vibrant diversity of cultures. The restaurants include middle eastern,Asian, jewish ,Italian, etc ."
  • Jessica B.
"Love it here great neighborhood, nice people. Parking is horrendous but other than that its a great place to live"
  • Maritabix
"it's a sleepy, quiet, green neighborhood full of neighbors and wildlife...but still on many bus lines and very walkable!"
  • Praise D. W.
"It's a comfortable friendly neighborhood with sociable people and easy access to most of Pittsburgh's most active areas."
  • Gail B.
"Close to highways, major Universities, melting pot of people new to neighborhood and old. City of Pittsburgh is not what it used to be, it is a growing city with 4seasons. "
