    "This is a really safe area to walk your dog even though there are no sidewalks. We are also pretty close to a dog park the has a space for little dogs and big dogs. Most people in the area are really dog friendly and own dogs themselves "

    "I live here in Tamimant , it's a community with nice houses. I don't have young children so I don't know if schools are good or not ,but- what I do know is the area has very high school taxes .The high school taxes are really hurting the Poconos .High forclosure's and a depressed real estate market. This is what I see all over the Pocono's. I feel the area will come back strong. If school taxes could be paid by the state sales tax .I hear theres some talk of raising the state sales tax a penny and paying school taxes with that money.Well if that could happen ,Im sure it would revive the Pocono's. Housing market , low taxes nice houses- country living. Thats what origionally attracted people here would once again be true . Two hour's from New York City . We also need that direct train line to NYC ,finished all ready. That's the ticket for the pocono's......"
