"Friendly and feels like the suburbs but still central. Lots of excellent restaurants in walking distance. A little bit of a college town feel since it includes belmont university and Vanderbilt."

  • Trulia User

  • Texasmomma144
"Terrible. The mornings and afternoons are stressful! Need turn lanes in some places and timed lights."
  • Sydnie R.
"Belmont is a nice area with a good community and nice homes. Safe walking area with nice neighbors and history."
  • Mslefevre
"It seems everyone has a dog, and you see so many people walking them- everybody’s so friendly, it’s absolutely wonderful! "
  • Kmdaniels1
"My commute is about 15 minutes to west end taking 21st to West End to Charlotte. I am also close to 440 to get anywhere else I might need to go. "
  • "This is one of the most fantastic areas in Nashville. Walkable distances to 12 South, Hillsboro Village, Belmont and more, close enough to downtown to be in the mix, but not so close that it's overwhelming. My wife and I adore this area and intend to live here for a very long time. Hillsboro Village in particular is full of great food and shops, and an overall enjoyable neighborhood feel, with sidewalks that are friendly to foot traffic, plenty of patios and privately owned shops that give this area wonderful character."
  • leewilliams719
"Great neighborhood with a excellent sense of community."
