What Locals Say about Baylor

  • Natalie T.
"There is literally a bar with tons of outside seating and a dog park in Baylor, as far as I’m concerned it’s very dog friendly considering you can have a mixed drink while your dog runs around in the play area"
  • Trulia User
"Most of the neighborhood that I have been is safe.I have 3 great grandchildren lives in the neighborhood and go to school at Alta Vista.Love the guidelines of the school is a good place to go to"
  • Victoria T.
"Sidewalks are terrible, college students drive like idiots, and a lot of dog owners don’t pick up after their pets. "
  • ALR
"Dog owners would like to live in my neighborhood because there is a very active community in my neighborhood. There is always someone out walking their dogs, running or riding their bike. "
  • Emma C.
"There are no dog parks near by. It is at least a 15 minute drive. If your dog is trained well and will not run away, there are plenty of open spaces on Baylor’s campus"
  • Sadie
"there is definitely access to wherever you are going a main highways runs right through Waco. The bad part is the is an awful lot of traffic like unbelievable traffic. There is construction everywhere. "
  • Kristopher A. P.
"Baylor sports events, extraCo Rodeo Jubilee @ the Silos, first Friday Deaf & ASL night @ Richland Hills Mall"
  • Molly M.
"The kids I’ve talked to (6-12y/o) around here say there aren’t enough kids around. But there are plenty of ‘little kids,’ especially around the graduate housing (and the Catholic center). Something to watch out for, for anyone, is moving near a party house, for sake of noise. The police have been pretty good about shutting them down around 11, but that’s still pretty late even for me. "
  • Martha T.
"It’s a close knit group of people who are all in the same season of life. It’s fun to live with and around others that do the same things you do all day. "
  • Mcppotter
"Surrounded by Baylor University and its students. Quiet for college students. Walking distance to all kinds of restaurants and fast food eateries, as well as watering holes. "
