What Locals Say about Grandview South

  • Clark J.
"There are a good number of young families in the neighborhood and the elementary school is one of the flagship schools for STEM"
  • Mrs.hutchings
"In 10 minutes you can get to the freeway, the grocery store , the library, and many restaurants. You can get to several parks and schools in about 5 min. "
  • Devin T. A.
"This is a wonderful community that I'm proud to be a part of. There are all kinds of people from all walks of life that live in this neighborhood. Families that are just starting their lives together - retired couples that are downsizing from larger houses, college students who go to BYU or UVU, and even more established families with a couple of kids in school live here. My wife and I love to go on walks with our 1 year old son and our dog along the provo river trail. We live very close to the freeway so commuting to work is easy, and we have a park just south of our house with a duck pond and playground. We intend to live here for at least 4-5 more years while our family is still small and I'm still in school. There are a few downsides - the houses are pretty close to the train tracks, so every now and then you'll feel like a small earthquake has hit your house. Also, the trains blow their horns very loudly sometimes at night. You get used to it though, and unless your outside or your window is open, it really isn't that loud. The independence club house is really great though, and the HOA is fairly reasonable compared to other ones you may see. The best thing about the area is the people though. I really like my neighbors. "
