"My neighborhood it's unique because it's close to the grocery store, restaurants, the 460 By-Pass, and Virginia Tech"
  • Cowebb
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 11 years. What makes it a great neighborhood is it’s walkable to Kroger, UCB, the post office. People often walk in our neighborhood and kids play outside year round."
  • David P. R.
"It's unique in the sense that it's a close mixture of retail stores, offices, apartments, and single family residences very close to a major university, and yet it is very peaceful. "
  • Eromlige
"I've been in this neighborhood for 14 years and every year has been great. Just know however, that the type of resident appears to be changing from homeowner with family, to more of a rental neighborhood. Many of the homes were/are held by individuals of retirement age. When their homes sell, the price range is such that investors are buying, and renting the properties now. The neighborhood is still a good one, central to most things and close to the major employer, Virginia Tech. But the home prices are irresistible to those that would buy and rent them out. "
