What Locals Say about Preston Park

  • Trulia User
"Would not recommend living here… Rental group is amazing but we had people trying to get into the house and lure us out on numerous occasions between midnight and 5am. We decided to move since we were expecting a child. If you don’t have kids I’d say a great place!"
  • Trulia User
"i have lived here for about 7 years. i love it over here. close to everything. love love love it on this side of town."
  • Trulia User
"It's a great neighborhood to live in, I've lived here for 13 years and never had any problems. Great for kids, animals and family's. Great area to bring the kids to trick or treat."
  • Misty_jessee
"The Greek fest happens right around the corner and is definitely in walking distance. A lot of neighborhood yard sales and free church events. "
  • Thomas S.
"Lots if sidewalks and easy to walk neighborhoods. Miles of neighborhood roads to travel with your pet. Just remember to clean up after your dog!"
  • ampharos
"A lot of people don't like Roanoke, but honestly Roanoke has been amazing to me. I used to live in Salem until I was 14, I had switched back and forth from Roanoke to Salem- and no where treated me with respect and dignity like Roanoke. I got bullied a lot in Salem, and I didn't get a single name call or a wrong look when I went to Roanoke. I love it here. I recommend to families with children, and people who are retired because it is VERY quiet, the neighbors are friendly but not overwhelming/ annoying like those other neighbors who bring you pies all the time, or the ones who turn their nose up at you and never speak to you. Absolutely love it here!"
