  • Trulia User
"Everyone is very warm and welcoming. I enjoy being able to walk anywhere I want to for my errands. very safe and quiet at night. "
  • Jason_hell
"All different types of things to do. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance xxxxxxxxxx"
  • Quinton.alari
"I drive my own car to work which is about to be extremely difficult. the bridge on the main access highway will be under repair for two years. Traffic will be horrible."
  • Toby J.
"Great views, mostly walkable. With west seattle bridge closed, it does make the commute to seattle very time consuming."
  • Chaw2000
"Awful with west Seattle bridge being closed down until 2022. You need to go around to white center or highland park to be able to get out of town. You could take the bike path so down town."
  • Amanda l. m.
"Dogs are everywhere. Lots of places are dog friendly, too. Water dishes out front and often allowed inside."
  • Jeanette
"it's over crowded now. it use to be quiet and peaceful. they r destroying this beautiful area with all the construction "
  • Jeanette
"people and becoming more congested. I need to find cheaper rent. its j it st more and more expensive to live here"
  • Nathan S.
"For people who like convenience, it's hard to beat the West Seattle Junction. There really is just about everything within a few blocks walk, and construction in recent years has added even more amenities. Easy access to public transport, and just a few minutes away from West Seattle parks and beaches. Getting into downtown is about as easy as it gets, if you're not already in downtown. You really can't match the variety and value of West Seattle, if you like city access, but without the crowding, traffic and parking issues in other Seattle neighborhoods."
  • Tamara V.
"I have lived in the Seaview neighborhood for 15 years. I love West Seattle and especially love our little corner of it. We can easily walk to the junction to do all the shopping, eating, eating and eating anyone could ever want. Did I mention eating? Oh yes, we have fabulous restaurants, bars, tearooms, and world renown BAKERY NOUVEAU just a couple blocks away. We also have the best local news blog in the world www.westseattleblog.com, which just makes our neck of the woods that much friendlier and happier. Mix in gorgeous views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains around every corner, you have a great place to live and raise a family."
