UPDATE: According to our friends at TMZ, Jennifer has officially sold this house (finally!) — after slashing the price again, to $9.9 million.
Jennifer Lopez, the international actress/singer/diva, put her nine-bed, 12-bath behemoth of a home in the highly coveted enclave of Hidden Hills on the market in February for $17 million, eventually pulling it off the market. But now, JLo has decided to relist the home — and drop the price significantly, to $14.5 million.
The 17,129-square-foot home, where Lopez once lived with ex-husband Marc Anthony, is located on a 3-acre estate in the Ashley Ridge area, featuring panoramic mountain and city views. In the main house, formal living and dining rooms and a gourmet kitchen open up to an outdoor living room with a veranda and swimming pool. The palatial master suite features a sitting room, extensive closet space, and a roomy private terrace.
Seven additional bedroom suites and eight fireplaces offer the comforts of a (highly luxurious) home, while the “entertainment wing” offers everything from a professional bar to a card/game area, with coffered ceilings, a 20-seat theater, and a gym. The new owner can get “On the Floor” in the spacious dance studio, lay down some tracks in the recording studio, or relax with a good read in the library. But not just anyone can catch a glimpse of where JLo lays her head; would-be buyers must be prequalified to book a showing.
Naturally, this isn’t Lopez’s sole property. Back in October of 2014, she snagged a Manhattan penthouse for the low, low price of $22 million. And then there’s that $10 million estate in the Hamptons … perhaps “Jenny From the Block” is headed back east for good?
