Now here’s something to “smize” about: Iconic supermodel and host of America’s Next Top Model Tyra Banks just listed her five-bed, seven-bath home in the luxe Pacific Palisades neighborhood for a whopping $9.25 million. Banks, who has owned a handful of properties in the Palisades, bought the property back in 2016 for $7.35 million.
Measuring 6135 square feet, the contemporary estate is a striking property designed by Douglas Breidenbach. Tucked behind gates on the cliffside with stunning mountain and ocean views, the home features dramatic high ceilings and open, spacious rooms. A chef’s grade kitchen has a large center island, while an inner courtyard features a dining pavilion. The private upper-floor master suite is the picture of luxury, with a large walk-in closet (we see all those Hermes bags, Tyra!) and spa-like master bath. Banks certainly knows a thing or two about buying and selling properties. Back in February, she snagged a five-bed, six-bath estate, also in the Pacific Palisades, for $6.996 million. Then there’s her Palisades townhouse, which just sold earlier this month for $1.475 million, and a $3.295 million Palisades home she bought back in 2014. She also owns property in the Ladera Heights area of Los Angeles, and another luxe property in Manhattan, which she attempted to sell for a whopping $17.5 million last year. She previously owned a 6000-square-foot home in Beverly Hills, CA, before listing it for $7.75 million back in 2015.
