There was and is nothing good about EOS. I was told by a guidance counselor my sophomore year that I would probably not graduate high school, let alone go to community college. From that point I was excluded from ECE and AP classes and even removed from my honors classes. I was excluded from classes that were required for college admissions (chemistry being one). I was a first gen student (my mom is an immigrant) and we knew nothing about the college process and clearly, guidance was unwilling to help. If you are not wealthy, have a strong last name or parental influence in the school and are not an athlete you will be left in the dark. Please save your kids from going to this school and being forgotten. Send them to Coventry, Windham/ Windham Tech or East Catholic or a prep/ CREC school if at all possible. If you can’t avoid EOS and you are a parent, fight for your kid and get outside college admissions assistance so you can help set your student up for success without depending on EOS staff. Very few schools offer a Pre K program, and I have been nothing but impressed with what my child has learned here. His teacher is amazing. You can tell she really LOVES her kids and teaches them the way she would her own. The secretaries are very nice and pleasant to talk to. Every teacher I have met has been so nice, and helpful. Even the bus drivers introduce themselves and become part of the great experience. The principal really makes the school great. The relationship he has with the students and faculty is wonderful. He gives out high 5's, helps them put their stuff in the lockers, holds doors. I have told my husband that we are not moving any time soon because I can't imagine not being a part of Vinton. My husband also went there 25 years ago!!!

I love the schools in Mansfield. I have one in MES and one in MMS. They care about parents get involved in the children's education. I went 3 times already and my kids love the school. My only complaint is the after-school program is not available for Middle school, just for elementary school and it is very inconvenient for me. Another thing I really like is the smart choices course, which I think is great for the kids' development. Yes, I do recommend Mansfield school for any kid.
