What Locals Say about Amelia

  • Michaiah
"It’s nice here and I enjoy the weather and watching the leaves change color. There is a lot of activities to do around here as well "
  • Michaiah
"This neighborhood has a lot of good choices for food that range from American to international cuisine and school options for children "
  • Lena L.
"The main road thru Amelia is extremely busy with a speed limit under 50 mph. If people would stay in the right lane if they are planning on turning it would make the traffic situation a lot better. The people are nicer here than other towns in Clermont County. More country and down to earth. "
  • Nicole P.
"School performance police force fire fighters paramedics . How our city is well kept clean streets and sidewalks"
  • Nicole P.
"Good schools bus service for the children. Senior bus comes through the complexes great parks close to groceries and great restaurants!! It‘’s just a great place to live!!!!"
  • Kirsten H.
"It’s really trashy now. There’s a lot of drugs. Police are always where we live. Not to mention the on going road work that never accomplished anything. I can’t stand Amelia"
  • Megan
"Amelia is a terrible place to live. Full of snooty, rude, and crude people! No one will ever go out of their way to help you unless your blood or sleeping with them. The men in the town....are the definition of a joke. "
  • Robert K.
"Not bad 275 loop within 5 miles. Shopping near by east gate close . Us 125 traffic is heavy in morning and evening "
  • Anees N.
"Easy access to all the major highways and to downtown or anywhere I need to get to. Plenty of nice restaurants and grocery store near by."
  • ThatGirl
"No side walks, lots of people walking around. Lots of dogs and some off leash. School kids and heavy traffic. "
  • Catherine
"There is no regular public transport except during the work week in the morning and evenings. Traffic is not so bad during rush hour except when there is construction. "
  • Melissa
"we don't have any events in my neighborhood. I live in an apartment complex. no one hosts anything.."
  • Janelle H.
"None. Everyone keeps to themselves for the most part but friendly enough to chat with when you see them out and about."
  • Cheri R.
"ive livrd in the neighborhood since i was 15. im 52. in the s as me house 25 yrs. the neighborhood has gone downhill with drugs. i no longer feel its z good plsce to live tho i love a lot of the prople snd the conveniences."
  • Katie P.
"This is a great neighborhood, the people are friendly but not in a super nosy way. I often enjoy walks in the early morning or evening in the park..."
  • Caitlin F.
"Grew up in the neighborhood. People are friendly and great for families. Don’t be afraid to go next door to ask for a cup of sugar."
  • jshassall
"I live in Amelia and have raised children here. Very safe, good schools convenient to Eastgate and downtown, avoids all the normal traffic tangles!"
  • truethis
"If by great place to live you mean filth go right ahead you will fit in. I've lived in this area most of my life. The schools are mediocre at best! Thank God I was able to grow up and get out of the neighborhood. I now we live far away from this nightmare of a community. The trailer park off of this road is by far one of the worse ones around. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion right? If you want to feel safe I would not move here. If your idea of safety is drug addicts, sexual predators, and robbery more power to you. As far as pet friendly goes- yes you can have pets in fact let them roam free and impregnate everything in the neighborhood. Walkability- I wouldn't trust my worst enemy on these streets. I've seen a lot of change in ten years in this neighborhood and let's just say it's not looking up. People moving away should tell you something right? "
  • King8039
"Love living in this neighborhood. Great schools, shopping, dinning, and lots of fun things to do with you pets and children."
  • malakimi
"It was amazing place. Walmart and Kogers was right there if you ever needed anything. The restaurants were good not many of them had to drive to Bethal or Eastgate. Queit place to live, The school, Amelia High and Middle I went to both and they are Fantastic. I had also gone to Glen Este but Preferred Amelia. They were just nicer and it felt less of a hassle. "
