"Andersonville: Lived here since 2016. Friendly, liberal, diversified, wonderful restaurants, low crime, nearby grocery, drug stores, and small businesses. Public transportation at your fingertips. Walking distance to Lake Michigan beaches, bicycle, and running trails. Village-like atmosphere, but close to downtown Chicago and its many sights, museums, art galleries, and theater. Great place to live! "

"I've lived in this area for over 20 years and couldn't see myself living anywhere else. People are especially friendly, everyone says hello and if you have children or dogs they tend to be more talkative. We have an abundance of restaurants, grocery stores as well as public transportation all within walking distance. "
