"The shared sense of pride in our beloved town, from its small town humble beginnings to its explosion during the dot com boom. Despite the rapid growth, which has brought amazing new businesses, events, and community events, Los Gatos still maintains that small town feel and still holds its traditional events and many of the same restaurants that I grew up going to. There are tons of block parties, community events and classes, garage/estate sales, and just a great vibe downtown, especially during the summer and any given Sunday at the coffee roaster and farmers market. During the summer months - Music in the park on Sunday evenings and jazz in the Plaz on Wednesdays Tons of walking/running, biking and hiking trails and we are 20 minute drive to downtown Santa Cruz and the boardwalk"

"It’s a beautiful town nestled up on the Santa Cruz Mountains. A great downtown with an old movie theater and great restaurants. The one big downside is all the beach traffic in summer weekends but it’s so walkable just leave your car behind those 13 weekends a year and walk or bike. "
