"West shore in west haven is a beautiful great place for the kids ! Beaches are clean and you can’t get houses closer to the water for the price ! Families really take pride in there homes and people look out for each other ! "

"There are lots of green areas and parks are sprinkled through out the city. There’s also a strong family presence in the area, as most of my neighbors have small children. Servers youth sports rec leagues are also available."

"It’s a very Nice town , great people , friendly, quiet and clean! Overall great town to raise children in ! Love it so much plan to never move out of west haven . The beach is also a plus ! Has festivals and events in the summer time for community and kids ! "

"It’s a very quite neighborhood. Just like any other city west haven does have it’s parts where it could be loud. Also has it shares of crime but where I live I haven’t ran into any bad experiences. My neighborhood is very kid friendly and very quite. No disappointments over here "

"Lots of kids around, the parks are nice places to visit and so is the green. Watch out people do speed on the streets, but walking is reasonable to a variety of needs."
