What Locals Say about Fairgrounds

  • Audrey Black
"Monon trail is good for dog walkers. Surrounding area is not very clean or safe. I would not walk at night. "
  • Trulia User
"we have block parties where everyone is encouraged to mingle and meet one another it really makes the neighborhood feel connected and brings a friendly atmosphere to anyone looking to join "
  • Trulia User
"area is nice but alittle expensive and housing in particular. restaurants and bars nearby. becoming more upper class with each year. "
  • Trulia User
"Dogs are friendly and usually on leash, but owners do not pick up after their pets often. Monon is nearby and very pet friendly "
  • Rdeangelo17
"They would like the dog park. That’s in the Pangea apartments also the safe neighborhood that you can give them walks around."
  • Kristel
"We love our neighborhood! Bikable from home to downtown in less time than battleing rush hour traffic! Great choice public elementary schools within 5 miles of home. Walkable to over 25 restaurants, 6 of which are microbreweries. A quick bike ride to historic theater and even more restaurant options. Fantastic for the cost of living here. Pot holes in Indy are BAD in winter time tho. But the paddle options (canoeing kayaking etc) nearby are fantastic! "
  • Talya
"My neighborhood has access to downtown. Weather you catch the Indygo or drive, you could even get there via the moon trail. There's shops, grocery, night life! Making all of my commutes a walk in the park."
  • Logan T
"Bike able; 30 minute drive in rush hour traffic (to downtown), 30 minute commute by bike. Only 20 minute drive when it’s not rush hour. Only 40 minutes to the airport. Close to major pathway which connects even to the suburbs. "
  • Nancy K.
"Getting more difficult with redline road work. Side streets are easy to maneuver. Restaurants and shops are selling easy to get to. "
  • Carla F.
"My neighborhood has great access to public transportation and is only a 15 minute commute to downtown......"
  • Samantha
"This is not a good neighborhood. Everyone minds their own business and won’t cause issues. There’s literally people on the street 24/7 and cars driving fast all the time. A lot of stray animals"
  • Nancy K.
"Easy to get around by car, walking, catching a bus, grabbing an electric car or scooter. Driving downtown takes twenty minutes going to Carmel above the same. Chose to buy here because of ease of getting wherever I need to go. "
  • Nancy K.
"Everyone is dog friendly and looks out for pets that have escaped their yards. Probably 80% of the neighborhood are pet owners. I "
  • lexbrus
"great neighbors. easy commute. new meijer opened. new restaurants and breweries are opening up. black circle brewerie has a very nice crowd of friendl, yougnang and successful people."
  • Ltippinsiu
"We can walk to 25 restaurants (Not chains) and two playgrounds. There’s a paved biking path across the street that connects easily to downtown. 1/3 of an acre in the city is a gem. There are many parks within a 20 minute drive, including state parks. Good local coffees and brews. Theater And paddling- even equestrian opportunities. Great schools too! "
  • Brookelinder
"my neighborhood really isn’t unique. it’s a bunch of cookie cutter homes. Too many HOA rules, and fees are incredibly high. "
  • Tenille D.
"My neighborhood is quiet, everyone is nice & respectful, can ride your bike to anywhere you want to go. Perfect location & crime rate is super low! "
