What Locals Say about Fairgrounds

  • Trulia User
"It’s so scenic and my neighbors abound with souther hospitality! I’ve live in Vegas and I most save since I’ve move to City Park I have not once missed Las Vegas! I just love all New Orleans has to offer and the culture, food and music surpasses any other place in this world!!"
  • Trulia User
"I have lived in my neighborhood for 24 years I love my neighbors specially the ones we’ve been here for years the new ones not so"
  • Trulia User
"There are plenty of opportunities for socialization here. Co-Vid 19 put a damper on things, but it is coming back...Jazz Fest literally happens in my backyard with Voo Doo Fest in my front yard yearly...We have the Mardi Gras Marathon, The 3rd of July Marine Band Concert, and numerous events every weekend from City Park Plant Sales to Hogs for a Cause to Celebration in the Oaks...but the greatest of festivals are nearly as great as an impromptu gathering of friends on the Bayou on a breezy, Sunday afternoon."
  • Trulia User
"The area is safe and I love all the local restaurants and groceries stores located in the area. It seems like everything is right at your disposal."
  • Trulia User

"Walking our dog is how we came to know so many of our neighbors. There are plenty of other dog owners in the neighborhood, so there’s always people saying hello. "
  • Brit S. E.
"It was 7 minutes to my job. Which was very easy. I think for others working in other parts of the city you would look at a 20 minute commute. "

  • Unspecified
"I love my neighborhood I been here for 2 1/2 years I want my daughter to grow up here. Nice community. Neighbors are quiet. We all stay to selves. Their are a lot of community cats that keep away the rats. Everyone keeps up with the lawn care so that is what makes my neighborhood. "
  • Dunndb21
"Wonderful place to live if you can handle Mid City culture. Bayou St. John, Jazz Fest, Voodoo Fest, etc... The crime tho... Cars stolen each week, car burglaries, package thefts, and more! "
