"I Been here 5 yrs neighborhood is quiet. I like my neighbors mostly and everyone keeps the neighborhood clean"
  • Raina G.
"Ive lived in thus neighborhood since i was born. Its always been very quiet and a good community with friendly neighbors and a shirt drive to local stores."
  • Jamiejet
"I live by Elysian Fields Avenue and N. Claiborne Avenue. Outsiders might dismiss it as a 'sketchy' neighborhood but I find it to be safe and pretty friendly. Just say 'good morning, How ya' doing?' and get to know your neighbors and you will be fine. Many dog owners live in the area. The French Quarter is about a 15 min. walk away. Interesting nightlife on St Claude for music lovers. There are still empty fixer-uppers so you can buy without displacing a family. A good neighborhood for community-minded folks, for people who like art, live music, nightlife. A bad neighborhood for music-haters who move next to a longtime club and immediately call the police to complain about the noise. Also, a bad neighborhood for those who cannot say 'hello' or 'good morning'."
