"We have a true community here. Neighbors help each other out, car pool, bbq, share tools, night outs, even borrow sugar. "
  • Millynn
"I’m retired, but is about 10 minutes to downtown, 5 minutes across the bridge to St Johns. 15 minutes to Scappoose, 20 minutes to Beaverton/Hillsboro. "
  • Kslothower
"This neighborhood has Forest park access, mountain & river views & a superb community that looks after one another."
  • Kslothower
"Best neighborhood in Portland. Friendly, down to earth people, safe, and the access to forest park is unbeatable."
  • Kslothower
"Very close educated community, easy forest park access, great mountain & river views, so so safe, lots of kids, spontaneous bbqs but also everyone minds their own business!"
  • Melanietempleman
"I have lived here for 13 years and am lucky to call many of my neighbors friends. It is beautiful and the trails to Forest Park provide hours of beautiful exploration."
  • "I used to work up in this area for fours yoear. It does get snowy and icy sometimes in the winter, yet it is sanded by the City of Portland on Skyline. If you are off of that street, it is steep hills and can be challenging. Pretty area, few commercial place, but those can be accessed by driving 10 or 15 minutes. Fairly easy access to the Portland side or Beaverton/Hillsboro side."
