What Locals Say about Cedar Park

  • Kyra Facer
"The summer festival and all of the wonderful restaurants. I like that it’s close to the city but far enough to get space "
  • Kyrstin L.
"There are a lot of dogs in the area with people walking them frequently. Everyone seems pretty friendly. But there are some that let their dogs off leash so be careful if your dog is not friendly with others. "
  • Mmarienw3
"10 mins to downtown and 10 to minutes to the Eastside. Doesn’t get much better than that to be able to have freeway access either direction that close to home. "
  • Nicholas A.
"Dogwood play park!!!! That’s all you’ll ever need! They are the only good thing about Lake City! Indoor/outdoor dog park with a bar and the owners are amazing!!!!!!"
  • Jacob S.
"I’ve lived here for 9 months and it’s a nice neighborhood that is fairly quiet. Its older but mostly clean and still nice. Most people are friendly and wave when walking by. "
  • C2302092
"Positives:Lots of Stores; some buses are close by. Negatives: There are lots of homeless w/theft a problem; drugs."
  • Kira P.
"My neighborhood has a lot of homeless people (often camping in front of my apartment) and the rent is way too high for the quality of life tbh"
  • KD
"This is a great neighborhood which I've lived in for 2 years. People all wave & talk to each other because we see each other on the Burke Gilman Trail. It's best if you have a dog. It's quiet, friendly and everyone here seems active. Lots of long-time residents, with some newbies (like me) mixed in. It is remote though. I joke that it takes 5 minutes to start going anywhere by car. "
  • Rol_l_lie
"Close to bus lines, great if you work downtown. Close to Bartells, Elliott Bay Brewery, Fedex, Bank of America, Verizon. Good area."
