  • Melody M.
"My neighborhood is in close proximity of schools, grocery stores, bus stops and parks. A car in my opinion is not mandatory. I feel that everything is in walking distance if you don't mind walking. "
  • Heidimward8
"There is an offleash dog park that is well maintained and centrally located in the neighborhood with friendly owners."
  • Cj1234567891

"There are always families and children’s walking in the neighborhood to get exercise. We also have people that walk their dogs in the neighborhood as well. A mile down the road is a farmers market and another mile passed that is Fred Meyer. This is a quiet neighborhood, friendly people and access to Ballard lake and shopping."
  • Ian O.

  • twatkins
"I grew up in Mountlake Terrace and my parents owned a house there for 45 years. Like everything, it has changed quite a bit. But we always were blessed with great neighbors, we played outside growing up and it was close to the freeway to get north or south easily! It will always hold a special place in my heart. "
  • Melindakogilvie
"MLT is as close as you can get to a small town in a big city. it's a great commute for couples were one person who works in Seattle and the other works on the eastside. it is, however, slowly losing it's small town feel."
  • Kim C. L.
"I've lived here for 59 years & love it. I'm not crazy about all of the senior housing being built & peeps being forced out of their homes for the Light Rail... But overall it's forever my home."
  • Xegotrip
"everyone I mean everyone! has a dog the houses were all tiny cinder block houses but most have been remodeled made bigger or torn down. they have huge yards where I live "
  • Tammy T.
"Lots of dogs and most leashed when walking;people walking their dogs seem friendly and most are fairly talkative "
  • Johnnychoi206
"It’s a nice place to live. Everything is close. Close to I5 and close to the shopping centers. It take about 20 minuets to downtown Seattle. The neighborhood is friendly and the school district is not bad."
  • Hjwulfmancraig
"This is a great neighborhood if want to live near Seattle and aren’t quite ready to buy. It’s a lovely rental community. Now that I’m looking to buy I don’t intend to stay in Mountlake Terrace."
