  • Billy Wallace
"I moved here as a child in 1980. It was the best area to grow up in. The small town feel is just amazing. "
  • Printerpros
"nice neighborhood and neighbors. Great parks and places to eat. Nearby beaches, great weather year round."
  • Matt B.
"great place to live. fantastic weather and minutes from the ocean. I've lived here 22 years. I don't have kids but seems like a good place to raise them. "
  • Gooie4168
"A mix of private dirt roads and highways. Not a lot in between. It's a lot like a mullet party in the backroads, business in the front. What more can I say?"
  • Mike Hancho
"horrible. just like the bay area and silicon valley people invading the central coast. way to take a good thing and ruin it. won't be long before their left side agendas reshape our local communities. just glad I live in the sunshine state that is full of hard working blue collar folk who want to make America great again. "
  • Jwenzelsgirl
"Cars drive fast up the one way street, and also often go the wrong way so this gives a false sense of security to the children."
  • Hagerty
"Stability and friendliness of residents. Many have raised their families here. Schools are close. Park is close. Movie theater is down the street. Great area to walk in. Quiet neighborhood."
  • VictorJamie D.
"I work in town and my kids attend school here. The commute is great! At the height of daily traffic (between when school is out and 5 o’clock rush) it can take 5 extra minutes to get across town ..."
  • Michelle
"I work from home so my commute is amazing! However there is definitely access to public transportation but having a personal car is definitely the way to go. Traffic on 101 has certainly increased over the last 10 years and we are definitely seeing a clear rush hour commute but nothing show stopping as compared to the Bay Area for example."
  • Sonshine333
"This is a beautiful place to live! I grew up here and it was a wonderful place to grow up. It is near the beach and near the mountains and has that small town appeal too."
  • Susanemilywilson
"Mix of rural and coastal, beautiful mild and mostly sunny weather year round, down to earth neighbors. "
  • Dannalnavarro

  • Sushierelli
"I have lived in this area for fourteen years. There is an awesome sports park and dog parks within walking distance. They have special events at the park. We have a great elementary school and close to restaurants, markets and coffee shops. People decorate their homes for the holidays. "
  • Claudia F.
"Im from Santa Maria but coming to Arroyo Grande is always a treat. its not overcrowded and seems a lot cleaner. I work here and an staying at a friends not even a mile away. "
  • Tena H.
"We have lived in this neighborhood for over 10 years. Most of the neighbors have been in the area at least as long and are friendly and easy to talk to. The area feels safe and most of the people living in the area take care of their property."
