"The commute is something I’m used to but for informational purposes you’re looking at about 15 minutes to Carson City and 45 minutes to Reno so it’s not really all that bad except during rush-hour like 8 AM about that time real bad and then 5 PM coming back into town bumper-to-bumper otherwise not too bad"
  • Jonathan Fischer
"Love my commute 45 minutes to Reno, 20 minutes to Carson and we are growing year after year. More stores and housing on the way!!!"
  • Sierra Corder
"There’s a lot of open space to take your dog out for runs, there’s also a community dog park that’s very well maintained "

"For the most part, it's a quiet neighborhood. There aren't many young, loud kids that live here. You have the benefit of living rural but have access to urban within twenty to thirty minutes. "
  • Morgan K.
"We have events at the parks on holidays. Trunk or treat, christmas tree lighting, easter egg hunts, etc."

"lots of access for bike riding or outside stuff lots of sidewalk and nice clean pretty parks or just recreational scenery"
  • Richard W.
"Small, high desert town that’s spread out, so unless you live near the one major store, you need a car (or horse) to get around. We’re less than fifteen minutes from the state capital, though, and Carson City has many shopping malls and health services, etc., without losing its own ‘small town’ feel. Great place to live and retire."
  • Richard W.
"Newer neighborhood, extremely safe (gated), beautiful well-kept homes, mostly retirees and seniors, some families with young children, brief walk to the clubhouse and golf course with golf shop and restaurant, great Mountain View’s all around."
  • Dragonfly65a

"Been many places in my life. The wild horses make this such a unique place to call home. Quiet and comfortable with just the right amount of snow during the winter. "
