Description

Built in 1941 and packed with personality, this Ravenna home has been updated without losing an ounce of charm. This home has refinished original oak hardwoods, heated floors in the totally remodeled kitchen and three new bathrooms, and over $350K in renovations. The backyard is private and made for firepit nights with friends. It’s plumbed for gas so no need to lug propane tanks around! The lower level with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths has the flexibility to be an extension of the main house or is rental ready as an ADU/MIL. It can be totally separated from the main level and has a private entrance, meaning built-in income potential or the perfect setup for guests, in-laws, or a home office. The light rail is a five-minute walk away, Green Lake, Cowen Park, and Lake Union are all right there too. North Seattle life doesn’t get much better than this. Come visit today!

"Lots of people usually out and about on walks it’s always nice. Each street in my area has its own charm and appeal "
  • Trulia User
"friendly safe, maybe I need to near by park. also apartments have to gym. nearby good restaurants and pubs. "
  • Louibeltz
"Great access to public transportation, and soon to be light rail. Great parks and location between Lynnwood to downtown, close to everything. "
  • Jerricaklout
"Fairl easy, traffic pending. Driving is harder. Best to take public transportation. Lots of bus options to get you downtown and will be even better once the light rail is complete. "
  • Maria L.
"Los of chalk, bikes, dogs, gardens, walkable parks, great schools. I wouldn’t play in the street without a parent because of cars and low visibility "
  • Taylor K. W.
"Relaxing outside away from downtown, but still close by. Transportation system available to take you pretty much everywhere in or around Seattle."
  • Megan S.
"We do the neighborhood night out block party in the summer. A bunch of us get together when someone moves in/out and we look out for each other. It’s a good group."
  • JK
"Easy access to the bus that takes you into to downtown Seattle. It takes approximately 12 minutes from the time I get on at 65th Ave. to the convention center. "
  • Ida S.
"I have lived in many locations around Seattle and this is by far the safest neighborhood I have been in. The neighbors are friendly too! You are close to bus lines to get you to the more social parts of Ravenna and Maple Leaf. I definitely like being within walking distance to Maple Leaf Reservoir Park. It is beautiful over there! "
  • paige c.
"I have lived in the Roosevelt/Maple Leaf neighborhood for a couple of years now. Neighbors are friendly, grocery stores (safeway, PCC & whole Foods) are close & clean, restaurants (Mojito's is a favorite) and bars (Last Drop and The Eagles Club) are cozy, reasonably priced and everyone is friendly. Quick commute to downtown because the express/freeway entrance is so easy. It can get a bit backed up in the morning/evening, but that is to be expected. Ample parks within walking distance (Froula, Green Lake, Maple Leaf Reservoir, Ravenna). From my house it is a 5 mile run around Green Lake and back. Down through Ravenna and back us about 4 miles. Perfect for an after work run!"
  • Doug H.
"This excellent neighborhood is considered Roosevelt, but is only blocks from Maple Leaf (N), Ravenna (S), and Wedgewood (E). There are a ton of kids in the neighborhood, the neighbors have been incredibly warm and welcoming and we're thrilled that we have settled here."
  • William A.
"I lived in this neighborhood for twelve years and left only when we had to move the burbs with our third kid. It's close and convenient and in the Eckstein and Roosevelt High area. "
