What Locals Say about Glendale

  • Trulia User
"my commute is very simple I only have 3 Mi to travel in it so I don't really have to worry about getting around anywhere cuz I can walk my distance all my friends live close all my Necessities are just as close I need to go to a big store the bus is easy to access close by freeway is close by as well on both sides kind of right in the center of the best of both worlds"
  • Trulia User
"Community ties. Everyone knows each other and every 4th and 24th of July we as a community do our own fireworks "
  • Trulia User
"They were definitely not like the skunks at night and other dogs owners not picking up after themselves "
  • Trulia User
"Easy to get around. Roads need patched up, J-Walkers everywhere. Definitely won’t get lost in Glendale."
  • Trulia User
"It’s a great neighborhood full of dogs! There is one dog that gets left outside and barks a lot but besides that it’s great!"
  • Trulia User
"it's a pretty quiet neighborhood. not really much goes on in this area unless there's a family function going on and that doesn't happen very often. "
  • Jeholland
"We've lived in Glendale for nearly five years. Overall, people are friendly and care about their neighbors and space. It's close to grocery, downtown, and all the freeways! Great place to live and only getting better."
  • CB
"There’s one of Salt Lakes largest dog park within the local park. Seems everyone has a dog and I often see them being walked along the Jordan parkway trail. "
  • Stanfordjgraham
"We bought our first home here with a healthy amount of apprehension- we were so very pleased with our decision after becoming familiar with the neighborhood and area. Future sugarhouse! Lots of hard working young families, lots of homes are being flipped and renovated, a number of new businesses including coffee shops, restaurants, etc, are moving in, and we are just minutes away from downtown, the airport, I-15, I-215, and I-80. We love it!"
  • hootiehue
"so close to downtown and minutes from I-15, I-215, I-80, and the 201! can get anywhere pretty easily and rush hour is going the opposite direction."
  • Braeden
"I love the Sorensen Rec Center. We go there almost everyday. The equipment and pool are great and we love the lawn areas for playing. We have a neighborhood party every summer and get to know our neighbors. The neighborhood is great and we feel really safe and happy!"
  • Babylt1208
"I grew up in this neighborhood and it’s a very good area. We love the environment and the schools as well "
  • sdonnwill
"I live here, many families have lived here 50+ years. The area is good or bad, street by street just like any other area of Salt Lake. Family orientated area, lots are area to ride bikes, supermarkets are close. Safer than many areas in Salt Lake"
  • "Close to Parks. Walk to Raging Waters water park. Walk to playground and soccer fields. Drive or Walk to Sorenson Rec Center. Walk to Jordan Parkway."
