What Locals Say about Poplar Grove

  • Trulia User
"more recently we got a car so it hasn't been bad but before it always took a while to get around on the bus. "
  • Trulia User
"I use bicycle and it works out great because of the Jordan River Trail and bicycle lanes provided by the city. Also not that hard to get to any destination in the Salt Lake Valley! "
  • Trulia User
"Glendale is a wonderfully diverse neighborhood. There are many Parks, schools, and places of worship."
  • Trulia User
"9 line trail is great for dogs and bicycles alike. Plenty of offshoot trails and parks from it as well "
  • Taylor F.
"Good access to both freeways and quickly getting there. I commute north so I don’t deal with the HOV entrance. "
  • Taylor F.
"It’s great we love it here and there are a lot of families and children nearby. There are nice parks and schools. "
  • Bianca M.
"It’s nice living in my neighborhood because everyone is friendly. It’s nice to come home and know I’ll be mostly safe. "
  • Ariel B.
"The place is great so far. Can't wait to get a bigger space! With a yard and garage. Maybe a garden. "
  • Hector V.
"I live in a community that has to improve. Meaning, assigned parking spot, and laundromat were most of the machines aren't working. "
  • Daniel H.
"I've lived here for thelast year. The neighbors are friendly and more than willing to look out for each other."
  • Karl H. F. K. R. 4. y.
"There has been quite a bit of new construction due to low land prices for this close to downtown location. I have sold this area, as well as most of Salt Lake for 40 years. The new construction has created a melting pot of middle class and vagrants...plus the new City Creek Mall and a great deal of LDS Church funding of downtown have brought many new apartments directly next to Interstate 15, noise, and pollution, plus the safety concerns of vagrants and drug trafficking. If you can look past that, it is a very convenient area, close to downtown Salt Lake and also the Airport."
  • "Close to town. Values going up. Friendly neighborhoods."
