"Dogs are welcome in our neighborhood. We see dog walkers every day. And everyone carries dog waste bags to pick up after their dog. Definitely a dog friendly neighborhood. "

"Clifton Day, held in mid-October, is very special. It features musical performances, craft sales, activities for children, and much more."
  • Kelli A.
"People walk their dogs all the time. It’s perfect if you own a dog. The speed limits in the neighborhood are 25 so people go slow in the event your dog were to get loose the road is less dangerous. "

  • Quemayer
"Everyone has a dog. I know all my neighbors by name from walking mine and meeting other dog owners. I even know non-owners because they are gardening or getting the mail etc. and I’m out walking the dog. There are lots of paths for walking through the neighborhood and trees and wild life including deer and fox. "
  • Quemayer
"This neighborhood is friendly. Because I walk my dog I’ve gotten to know all my neighbors either they have a dog also or I just meet them because they are outside when I’m walking. "

"The quaint little town of Clifton is both a close-knit community and a great destination for a night out. With 5 restaurants for every budget, and 3 great bars (in the restaurants) the town is hopping on weekend nights, but with none of the problems that such activity usually comes with. Greatest place I've ever lived."
  • Covenant I.
"If you love old Virginia, you'll love this quaint historic town. Our farmhouse has been charmingly renovated. The four bedrooms are unusually large for an old house. It has a great close in Clifton location for horse lovers who want to board their horses on their own property. The heart pine floors and a recently renovated kitchen which looks like it has always been here. The gardens are extensive and have been carefully kept up. Sit on one of the three porches and watch the many species of birds or the deer and foxes go by. The large master suite is in a 1992 addition and has a cathedral ceiling, a large sitting room and a new master bath with separate shower, jacuzzi, and heated porcelain floors."
  • Kelli S.
"I lived in The Ponds for six years. What a great community! It's quaint, clean, well-managed and offers great amenities. There is a community pool, tennis court, fitness room, car wash area, plenty of jog / bike trails. Walk right across the street to The Colonnade at Union Mill featuring Starbucks, Giant Food, Manhattan Bagel, Outback Steakhouse and much more! "
  • carioca180877
"Walking distance to mall which is a great convenience. Set in a great neighbourhood with friendly neighbours that look out for one another."
